Hello, dear crafty friends! The post today is about a set of bookmarks I made to accompany a handsewn notebook using the same theme and colour scheme.
I’ve started with die-cutting the bookmarks out of different colour cards using the Avery Elle dies. Then I went on stamping them with My Favorite Things stamps from the ‘Beautiful Blooms’ set and distress inks from Rangers’. One of the bookmarks received a bit of a background created with the same distress inks used for stamping. I felt it was missing something and it’s what it needed – a final touch.:-) All of them are tied with some bakers twine from Trimcraft in assorted colours.
There’s not a lot more to say about the project as it was a quick and pretty straightforward one. What’s really nice is that it compliments well a gift for someone who loves reading. So, you’ll probably see me posting more bookmarks as I love making them and sharing them with great people. You can also see some other sets of bookmarks just searching my blog using bookmarks as a keyword.
Thanks again for stopping by and wish you all the best,
