Birthday card in fall colours

Hello, dear ones! Here’s a birthday card in fall colours. I made this for my cousin who is also a great friend.
The base card and the front cover are made of recycled paper and card. I stamped the leaves onto the same type of paper and then I fussy cut each one of them. I know, I spent some time on it but I can tell you it was well worth it.

imgxi1889For stamping, I used the We R Memory Keepers stamping tool and My Favorite Things ink cubes. I stamped the leaves and the corner border several times, re-inking the stamps with different colours in order to get these beautiful fall colours.

Then, I stamped the foxes and the tiny hedgehog onto some cream card. After that, I coloured them in with Inktense pencils and with watercolours (the fox at the bottom). I glued all the pieces with Glossy Accents.
The stamps are the small ones that I found in Santoro Gorjuss stamp sets. I used the leaves, the foxes and the border from ‘The Fox’ and the hedgehog from “Toadstools’.

I also added a bit of a sparkle by using sequins in matching colours and some thin gold thread. The dimension is given by the foam glue pads adhered to the fox at the bottom of the front card.
Love the way they all match and look together!

Thanks for stopping by.

Have a great week,
Talida
