Hello, everyone!
The cards today are all about mistletoe. I always wanted to make some cards using the XCut Leaves die set and get a lot of leaves die cut and ready to use whenever I needed them. So, I made a few using handmade paper upcycled from a soap wrap into paper for my handmade project. You can see the leaves I cut and more about what I talk about here.
And then, I saw one of Julia Altermann’s post on her blog using some die cuts and making such a wonderful card using them. I watched her video too and thought: wow! That’s what I wanna do with the mistletoe. So, I went and die cut some more leaves and got myself going with the flow. I ended up having a bowl of leaves die cuts ready to use. Love them!
The fruits or the berries were coloured on both sides with a Promarker, Crimson, I think. I added some white gel pen dots with a Docrafts Artiste pen and some shimmer with my favourite tool this winter: Wink of Stella clear brush pen.
I created a set of cards, used a Santoro London stamp for the background as a wreath that holds the mistletoe. Added sentiments: some handwritten and some stamped. And there it is: meet me under the mistletoe! 🙂
Hope you like them.
Look forward to being back here soon,
Talida
