The Interactive Fox

Hello, everyone! It’s been a while, right? Here’s my go for an interactive card using small stamps, coloured pencils, dies and inks.

I’ve been planning for a while now to give some love to these mini stamps I have with Santoro’ s stamp sets. I chose the sets Toadstools and The Fox. Those little foxes are so playful and I enjoyed colouring them with my new Inktense pencils from Derwent. Besides the foxes I chose some tiny hedgehogs and some mushrooms. Totally loved the way they came out!

As I wanted to make it interactive, I went online and viewed some Lawn Fawn videos with interactive cards making and then set on my path to do mine. I chose some circle dies from Xcut and some cards to die cut the frames. For the background I chose to use some distress inks and I have no idea why haven’t I tried them before. They are magical! I used some sponge daubers and it came out beautiful!
On the first cover, I used a piece of card where from I die cut some leaves a while ago as a stencil to create that leafy layout.

I attached the circle frames, the background, the fox and the leaves and then the interactive fox. The late one is attached to a coin so that it can swing/move around the circle frame.

As a final touch, I added some glossy accents on the mushrooms and on the foxes’ noses.
The envelope was made to match the theme with 2 foxes and a hedgehog. Cute, isn’t it?
