Hello, everyone! It’s been a long time since I last wrote here. There has been a pretty busy month with lots of projects, running my first 10K in an international competition and having the first English issues of a medical Journal I edited, being published. Thank you notes go to great people who’ve been there to support with kind thoughts and good deeds.

My card today features My Favorite Things “Beautiful Blooms” stamp set. This is such a great set and I absolutely love it! You can create a lot of things using them: backgrounds, layered flowers and scenes. All you need is a drop of imagination and great inks to make them fill a heart with love and joy.
The card is a thank you one from a series of cards I’ve made to thank the great people I mentioned.

I used distress inks, my new go to inks, for the blooms and leaves. The ‘thank you’ sentiment is stamped in Graphite Black (Brilliance Dew Drop). Once I created the background, I let it dry and stamped some extra blooms, that I fussy cut and added with some foam tapes over the already stamped ones, to give dimension. For a bit of shine, I added some glossy accents on each ‘dimension’ flowers’ central discs.

Then, I adhered the sentiment using some foam tape over a layer of lilac string wrapped around the background and tied into a bow.
