Good morning, dear friends and crafters!
These landscapes die-cuts are so lovely! I made them using the Memory Box die called ‘Country Landscape’. As a lately habit I enjoy die-cutting more than one item using the same die out of different coloured paper, card or textures. The ones I used here are die-cut out of white and dark blue cardstock, glitter card in blue. The best part of all is that I also used the negatives (the remaining paper/card after I die-cut) and combined it with different coloured landscapes. A great idea with an excellent effect!
The card on the left has a background created with Staedtler watercolours, stamped with snowflakes in white dye ink and brushed with the fine Wink of Stella in clear. Added a white piece of cardstock at the bottom and stamped with a greeting in black dye ink. The country landscape die-cut in dark blue has a bit of Wink of Stella brushed on just to give a bit more dimension and shine. On the right, there’s a card that uses a die-cut frame using the the Xcut Square Parenthesis nesting dies in 3 layers, to add enough dimension, a picture created out of a dark blue piece of card and a white card die-cut piece of landscape. In the ‘sky’, I added a few sticker stars, some stars made with Stickles and some tiny dots with a Docrafts Artiste gel pen. The twine runs through two tiny holes made in the folded edge and tied into a bow. Then, I stamped the greeting using the Artiste pigment ink (Denim).
On the left, the card is made using the negative die-cut made for the card on the right.:)
Cool, isn’t it? It’s a pretty simple card. The fine touches are given by the die-cut snowflake in silver, tied with some blue/white bakers’ twine and by the white tag that is stamped with Joy. For the card on the right, I used patterned paper in violet with some polka dots, two die-cut landscapes in white and glittered blue card, a white piece of card stamped with a sentiment and some bakers’ twine wrapped around and tied in a bow to add dimension.
And the above are a few more shots with the Country Landscapes worth to look at.
Many thanks for stopping by and wishing you a wonderful day,
Talida
