Hello, everyone! With the summer holidays in full bloom and me busy with, I have a thank you card for you today.
I know I’ve been AWOL for a long time, but don’t we all need to recharge our batteries?;-)So, that’s what I did: went on holiday, played with my niece, read, learnt some new techniques (remembered some learnt in school), listened to music and watched a few films and shows. Hope you’ve had some fun too.

This ‘thank you’ card was designed using My Favorite Things stamp set ‘Beautiful Blooms’, a set that became one of my favorites and I seem to get back to it whenever I have some cards or bookmarks to make. I stamped the blooms using Distress Inks and added some glossy accents to the flowers’ centres. There was no masking used, as I just played with the stamps using the inks randomly. The sentiment ‘thank you’ comes from the same stamp set and I really like it. I stamped it using Memento Dye Ink – Tuxedo Black. To add a little interest I used some twine in three different colours to match the colour scheme and tied them on the front panel of the card. Then, I adhered the front panel to the card base using foam tape to give it extra dimension.
